Which god t-shirt should you buy? Shiva, Hanuman, Narasimha and Garuda

Pick the deity first and the tee color second. Shiva has the most choice with four designs, while Hanuman, Narasimha and Garuda have one bold design each. Every one of them is on the same 6 oz cotton oversized tee for $39.99, in XS to 3XL, and they all sit on our spiritual shirts page.

Below is what each print shows, the colors it comes in, and how to choose.

Which Shiva t-shirt should you get?

Shiva is where most people start, so there are four.

  • Har Har Mahadev: a dark painted Shiva in meditation under a full moon, with a big orange Om behind him and Nandi on the right. HAR HAR MAHADEV runs across the top in orange. Black or White.
  • Om Namah Shivay Shiv Ji: Shiva standing on a mountain at night with a burning trident, OM NAMAH SHIVAY at the top and HAR HAR MAHADEV at the bottom. Black or White.
  • Om Namah Shivaya: Shiva meditating under a glowing Om with the mantra across the top in Devanagari script. The calmest of the four. Black or White.
  • Cosmic Consciousness: a blue Shiva holding a galaxy, with INFINITE WITHIN under him. Black or White.

What does the Hanuman tee look like?

The Bajrang tee shows Hanuman in flight with his gold gada in one hand and the mountain in the other, in front of a blazing orange sun. BAJRANG is written below in cream letters. It has the most colors of any tee here: Black, Navy, Natural or Forest green.

Narasimha

Narasimha is the lion-headed form of Vishnu, roaring with his claws out in front of a ring of fire, with NARASIMHA in gold letters under him. It's the loudest print we have. Black, Forest green or Natural.

Garuda

Garuda, the eagle king and the enemy of snakes, spreads his red wings in front of a red sun with a serpent coiled around him. GARUDA is painted underneath in red. Black or Natural.

What if you want something less literal?

Karma Keeps Score has Shiva in fine black linework like an old engraving. Third Eye Buddha is a calm blue Buddha under a pink third eye with LET THAT SHIT GO on the banner. Both are on the same page.

How do the tees fit?

All of these are oversized: 6 oz cotton, dropped shoulders, a boxy body. Take your usual size, the room is already built in. Our oversized sizing guide has the chest and length in inches.

Which one should you buy?

  • For a temple visit or a festival day: Har Har Mahadev or Om Namah Shivay Shiv Ji.
  • For everyday wear: Om Namah Shivaya, the quietest print.
  • For a Hanuman devotee: Bajrang, on Black or Navy.
  • For a statement: Narasimha or Garuda on Black.

Printing, shipping and returns

We print each tee in the USA after you order and ship it free anywhere in the US. Most orders arrive in 5 to 9 business days. You can return a tee within 7 days of delivery for a full refund, or ask for a free size swap.

Is it okay to wear a god t-shirt every day?

That's your call, and plenty of people do. Wash it inside out in cold water so the print lasts. Our post on whether DTG printing cracks has the care details.

Do these come in women's sizes?

They're unisex, XS to 3XL. Women who want a looser fit usually take their normal size.

Is a god t-shirt a good gift?

Yes, for someone into bhakti or meditation. Each tee is printed after the order comes in, so order about 2 weeks ahead.
